Starting Feb. 1st I am going to do 4 things everyday for 40 days.
#1 Go Vegan Better for the planet and better for the body. And less cruelty in the world.
#2 Get rid of at least one item from my home everyday. Its great to declutter.
#3 Not to use plastic water bottles, or plastic bags.
#4 To do yoga everyday. At least one class at studio not just my home practice.
I often get asked is it healthy?
Is a vegan diet healthy? Definitely! A balanced vegan diet consisting of a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts and seeds is the healthiest of all and will provide all the nutrients you need, with the bonus of higher antioxidants and lower saturated fat and cholesterol
A vegan diet is appropriate for us at any stage of our life including pregnancy, infancy, childhood and for athletes!
A balanced vegan diet consisting of a wide variety of fresh fruits, vegetables, grains, legumes, nuts and seeds is the healthiest of all, with the bonus of higher antioxidants and lower saturated fat and cholesterol. Why get rid of one or more items from my home daily?
Aparigraha: non-possessiveness, non-greed. We tend to accuire more than we and it need. So I will declutter and stream line my home. Weather it is items i don't use to be taken to the gargage or good will or give it to someone who needs it.
Plastic Plastic
Plastic products are very common in our modern life. According to estimates, every year we use approximately 1.6 million barrels of oil just for producing plastic water bottles. Plastic waste is one of many types of wastes that take too long to decompose. Normally, plastic items can take up to 1000 years to decompose in landfills. But plastic bags we use in our everyday life take 10-1000 years to decompose, while plastic bottles can take 450 years or more.
Why should I do yoga everyday?
