Yoga Class Descriptions
Beginner
This class for those brand new to Yoga. It is a great place to start. You will receive detailed clear instructions on alignment, posture at a moderate pace. In this class, your body will calmly begin to open up as your flexibility increases. Awareness is paid to posture and alignment. Stretch, tone and relax.
Gentle
Great for beginners or for bodies needing a gentle approach. Gentle yoga will provide all the elements of a traditional class at a slower pace with more instructions and plenty of props to support the poses. All levels welcome.
Gentle Flow
This class is designed to recharge and restore the body, mind and soul. Set to tranquil music, this intimate class will focus on body awareness and breath while exploring the meditative qualities of yoga. In this class you will practice relaxing into the deepest layers of the body to find a state of release, surrender and calm. Melt the day away with the simplicity and beauty of this gentle healing practice. All levels are welcome.
Om Sweet Om Restorative
A very slow, relaxing class exploring fully supported postures, meditation, and breath-work that are meant to restore a state of wellbeing in the body and mind. Poses are held for 5-15 minutes. Props, blocks, blankets and bolsters are used. All levels welcome.
Yoga Stretch
Focusing on the positive stretching movement of the body in order to feel good all over. In this class we will target the hips, back and shoulders. We will use many props, options and modifications in this class which will fit everyone's individual needs. All levels welcome.
Warm Yin
Exploring your edge in postures from 3-5 minutes in a warm heated room. All levels welcome.
Sun A+ B Salutations
Exploring the sun salutations. Explore the postures that make up the sun salutations and then flows through your surya namaskar. With repetition comes ease. This class is great for students seeking to deepen their understanding pof the sun salutations and move their practice from beginner to a vinyasa class. All levels welcome.
Moderate
This is a mid-level class between Gentle & Intermediate classes. There are lots of standing poses ~ working on strength and flow. All levels welcome,; some knowledge of yoga postures a plus.
Vinyasa
This is a faster, fun-paced class. It is composed of a series of Warrior poses and sun salutations along with some inversions strung together to create heat and energy flow. The poses are linked together gracefully into semi-power sequences, resulting in a dance-like flow. Intermediate levels welcome; some knowledge of yoga necessary.
Slow Flow
This class slows down the pace of a regular vinyasa-style yoga class. Sun Salutations are performed slowly, with conscious awareness to detail. In this mindful yoga practice, you will release tightness and gain strength in a nurturing environment. All levels welcome.
Hot 26
This hour and a half class is taught in a heated room of 105 degrees. A sequence of 26 poses are done one time. It is a dynamic system of postures that will allow you to safely push your body to its edge, and rest in stillness in between the postures. A strong practice that is beginner friendly.

Hip Opener
There are so many reasons to do hip opening poses: Supple hips can ease back pain, give you a more agile gait, and even improve circulation in your legs. The class is designed to open and soften the areas around the hips, to move your ball-and-socket hip joint through its full range of motion. When you do it regularly, you may see improvement in the rest of your practice.
Chair yoga
Utilizing a chair as a support, this class focuses on moving the body and the breath with modifications.. All levels welcome.
