The Center for Health and Healing offers a nationally recognized 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher Training programs in Hatha Yoga, recognized and sanctioned by Yoga Alliance.

Join our community of sincere students and talented teachers at a premier yoga center. We offer diverse and experienced faculty, professional studio environment, specialized areas of study, and a active student-teacher yoga community.

Our Mission

Our mission is to provide the opportunity for our students to become above average yoga teachers. We have provided a well developed program steeped with self discovery and healing. Our program exceeds the yoga alliance requirements. We will nurture and encourage each student to awaken the teacher within.

We offer a practical, empowering,comprehensive, and rewarding program. We will teach you how to think on your feet and tailor your classes to meet the needs of your students. We will teach you how to read bodies and teach yoga skillfully. We are committed to the personal success of each participant in our program.This program helps to bring peace into your lives and the added blessings to be able to share this gift with others.

Some of the benefits and things included when taking this course:
•	There are 30-40 yoga classes offered per week that you are entitled to take for FREE while enrolled in this program.
•	Study and meet with many high caliber long standing guest teachers.
•	Study the Sutras, Gunas, Koshas, and Chakras.
•	Knowledge of over 70 Sanskrit terms.
•	Learn Meditation and Pranayama.
•	Learn anatomy and physiology system by system will be taught clearly.
•	Learn about injuries - preventing them and how to work with them safely.
•	Learn how to tame your fear of public speaking.
•	Learn how to write and instruct several levels of class formats.
•	Learn how to give safe posture adjustments.
•	Learn the business of teaching yoga.
•	Learn to teach Chair Yoga, Gentle Yoga, Intermediate Yoga, and Multi Leveled classes.
•	You will be introduced to Hot Yoga, Dharma Mittra Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Mom and Me Yoga and Partner Yoga.
•	You must pass written quizzes, pass and complete assignments, pass final written exam and practical exam.
•	Mentor for 15 hours.
•	Perform Karma Yoga and instructor assist.
•	Learn how to live your yoga on and off your mat.
•	Learn how to teach the ancient art of yoga safely and confidently.
•	You will learn how to be a light for yourself and others as a yoga teacher.
•	By keeping the right attitude, the right alignment maintaining internal and external balance and the right (Kind and Joyful) actions.
•	You will learn the principles of yoga including its benefits, the philosophy, and how it relates to our everyday life.
•	Expect to work hard, have fun, and make long lasting friendships as you embark on this joyful path.

There is a $150 fee for all books and training manual.
There is a $350 one time charge to Kripalu in Lennox Massachusetts for our mandatory group yoga retreat; attendance is required.
2 Saturday Makeup Days Available. 1pm - 6pm.
