What to Expect During Your Massage?

  • Will take place in a quiet, private room.
  • Soft music will be playing in the background.
  • Your session with be conducted by a certified trained professional.
  • Most massage are performed with the client unclothed, however you can decide what amount of clothing you prefer to wear for your own personal comfort.
  • You will undress in private, relax onto the specially designed table, and drape yourself with a clean sheet.
  • You will be properly draped at all times. Only the area being worked on will be exposed.
  • We now offer hot scented towels with your massages at your request.
• Before you begin, your Therapist will ask some general health questions.

• Please inform us of any health problems or medications you are taking.

• We do use FX Massage Cream to prevent excessive friction.

• FX Massage Cream will hydrate the skin and will be readily absorbed.

• Make yourself comfortable. You can chat or close your eyes and completely relax. The choice is yours.

• As you relax, pressure will gradually be increased to address specific areas and relieve muscle tensions.

• The average session is one hour. One half hour is sufficient for reflexology or chair massage.

• One and one-half hours is good for these stressful weeks – or – spend one hour on the whole body, and add one-half hour on an area that needs extra attention

• Great care will be taken to meet your individual needs and the amount of pressure will be adjusted to your preference.

• Massage or bodywork can help release chronic muscular tension and pain, improve circulation, increase joint flexibility, reduce mental fatigue.

• Your massage therapy will promote faster healing of injured muscle tissue, improve posture, and reduce blood pressure.

• Not only are massages enjoyable, they help heal or lessen the severity of a variety of ailments.

Dawn Keen
Dawn KeenMassage Therapist
Dawn is a seasoned Massage Therapist and Certified Yoga Instructor. She also is a Registered Nurse (in critical care). She graduated from massage school in 1996, and is a member of the Associated Bodywork and Massage Professionals (ABMP) national organization.
Being an RN helps her understand the functions of the human body. She thoroughly applies her knowledge in massage and bodywork, and during her Yoga teaching.

Her studies have taken her to Thailand, Germany, California, Hawaii, Arizona and New York. She actively pursues courses to expand her knowledge of the body, update her bodywork techniques and expand her massage skills.

Dawn’s life path has led her as a natural progression to make use of her gifts for healing and massage. She is noted for her positive and compassionate approach to her massage clients and Yoga students.

Due to her schedule she currently only massages her special or long standing clients.

Jody
JodyMassage Therapist
Jody is an experienced massage therapist, who’s specialty is Deep Tissue massage. She is also specializes in: Carpal Tunnel treatment, Whiplash therapy, Prenatal massage for mother & child and Reflexology.

Jody feels her massage sessions are “mini-vacations from every-day stress” for her clients. In her sessions, she uses an attentive ear and a calm empathetic touch.

She also believes good health and peace of mind are maintained by healthy lifestyle choices. Care of your body should be at the top of your priority list. Stress relief alone can improve your vitality and state of mind.

Jody is also Dawn’s oldest daughter. She is know for her deep healing touch and she is the lead therapist at the center.

Pam
PamMassage Therapist
Pam is a graduate of Somerset School of Massage, in Wall NJ. She has a warm-hearted approach to massage. She infuses all her massages with her Reiki healing touch.
Pam uses the power of touch and her passion for healing which shine through in her massage sessions. She feels greatly rewarded knowing she can make a positive change in someone’s health through massage.

She is also a florist and loves nature and all its gifts. She hopes to inspire her clients to maintain a connection to living harmoniously within their bodies and the world around them. She is also our facialist at the center.

Pam has a limited schedule as she spends the winter months in Florida. Please call for her availability.

Priscilla is a licensed massage therapist, that has been practicing massage therapy for 10 years. She graduated from Somerset school of massage therapy in 2006.
She is dedicated to helping her clients relieve stress, relax, get rid of aches and pains, and to achieve ultimate health.

Dawn is a graduate of Ocean County Massage Institute in Toms River. She customizes her massage technique based on her clients needs.
My clientele base ranges from someone who wants to relax to an athlete who is looking for a quicker recovery period and everyone in between. She has specific techniques to help with Carpal Tunnel, Whiplash, TMJ, and Sciatic pain. Dawn is also Certified with doTERRA to offer the AromaTouch Technique. Dawn believes that everyone benefits from receiving frequent massage therapy.
